So how are you all uploading your pictures? When I click on the little image icon I have lots of choices- but none of them are the computer. When I click on upload, I get a message telling me that I can upload jpegs etc but nowhere can I click to browse anymore.
Do I need to be using Picassa? Horror. Though even that might be preferable to having a clever phone. Pease tell me I don't need a clever phone!

Mags, click on HTML which then opens a screen where you can down/upload photos. then you need to return to 'compose' to write the post.
It worked for me.
Elizabeth's fix works for some people but not me...I think we (Chris and I)have to go Google Chrome (Oh ,Lord !Something else to learn).This problem is a challenge for Internet Explorer uses..so they say.

Jane, it worked for me on Hookery in the Bookery. (Thanks to Cornish cream x) Will try it on fraise tomorrow- it MUST be fixed by Thursday. I'm very excited! Although we're forecast for heavy rain... I would in no way be capable of attempting anything in chrome!
I just click on "choose files" and it goes straight to my picture folders - think I might be on Chrome though.
Chrome is the way to go I'm afraid.

I use Windows Live Writer to write my blog.
I use Picasa to tidy up my appalling photographs - it does everything except replace heads which get cut off when I take really bad pictures.
I don't have a clever phone
You don't need one either!!

Hmmm, I'm using Firefox. I didn't attempt to load any photos today, so I don't know if there is a problem. I will have to check and set up another post. Hopefully you'll get it all figured out without having to learn something new. Ugh! Technology!

I really like using Picasa, especially for the blog. It's so simple and quick to upload photos to it and then from your dated web albums. It dates them automatically for you. They load fast because the pixels are lower. Works for me.
I've heard several bloggers mention this lately. I've had no trouble -- I have a MAC and use Firefox. Haven't done the Chrome jump ... yet.
I haven't tried uploading my own photos yet. I'll let you know.
Yes, I have to use the HTML option at the moment. But I'm a Picasa person.
I wish technology would behave itself. Just saying.
The sad thing is, Mags, I have no idea. I just push a little button and they upload from my computer.
I'm worthless, I know.

Sigh. I have exactly the same problem. I haven't tried the HTML fix yet, but I did manage to get a pic uploaded via Picasa Web Albums. I'm using IE9, and I think Blogger is telling me it's time to move to Chrome or Firefox...
