Preparing for Advent

Next Saturday morning Cooking Catherine and I will be running our now third annual Preparing for Advent, which is exciting! I can't even pretend to be nervous, though I should be, because it has become my main point of reference for the "whole Christmas season"- Grinch semi-quote there. And Angela is running her Top Tips again, thank goodness, as well as sharing a very fine cake. And Pom Pom is doing Child-Like Christmas starting this week, and Floss is wonderfully hosting Pause in Advent again. It's an exciting time to read blogs! But I also like to keep in step Advent Conspiracy, because it pretty much sums the whole thing up for us here.

great update on the AC video. The 4 AC aims are really good.

I love you too - and your fab family [and PomPom too, but I have yet to hug her]

Just what I've been saying and posting. Breilliant video, thanks Mags.

This video is just what we need- if only they could show it on the big video display at Piccadilly Circus in London instead of running advertising for yet more consumerism! I will put the link on my blog too. Bettyx

Oh, I love this! Every year I think I'm going to celebrate Christmas the way it should be celebrated, but I always over-do. It's good to be thinking now about how I might under-do. Thanks for posting this video, Mags.

By the way, I cannot believe your children turn up their noses at sausage casserole. That simply cannot be possible!

I love the Advent Conspiracy! It really makes one think twice about how we celebrate Christmas. Thank you for reminding me to watch it again this year. I put it on my blog too!

Blessings!
