I did promise a nice picture next time, in apology for my political rant. These are lovely memories from July 2010 when the strawberries were small and blond, and I was neither middle-aged nor portly! We were on our way home from Brittany. This is what our minds' eyes see when we think of ND. Love to Paris x

Love to Paris indeed. We never made it; were 10 days from leaving when he became ill.
Wonderful memories!
It's so sad about the fire. So sad.
Are you portly now?!? Ha ha. I know I am. It's nice to see photos of those far away days of being slimmer. But our increased wisdom must surely make up for our less than ideal physiques! I'm speaking for myself, since I only have your word concerning your portliness. I know my kids have gone and grown up since I began blogging. Looks like yours have as well. God bless 'em all! {{HUGS}}
Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting. That was very kind of you.
Thank you, Mags. It's lovely that you had the means to share your memory of this time and place.
Very cute strawberries!
What a beautiful place, and I think it will be again. Glad you could have that time as a family in the beautiful city.
