The Going to the Zoo to See the New Red Squirrel Corner Day

The strawberries have had their own list this month. We went to see Brave- bit disappointed. Had such high expectations of that hair. PC took them to the cavehill advencher park. Yesterday I took them to the Zoo.
The new Red Squirrel Nook. Impressive- there are binoculars on those little ledges, and you look into a magical forestscape of tiny houses and leafy glades. Didn't actually see any red squirrels...
Penguins queue up to be fed. They wait patiently for the keeper to glide a fish into their grateful mouths, and then they toddle happily away leaving space for the next penguin. What? Penguins feed more humanely than strawberries?
It is turning out to be a gracefully mellow end to the summer. All the suns really want is lots of time outside with friends. I think we all know that the end is nigh!

Aw, we liked Brave! We did see it in Edinburgh, which was a good place...

Jane has red squirrils? Who knew???

I'm so glad you have some sunshine. Our boys are fed up with the sun now, although tomorrow they're visiting friends with a pool, so I guess they'll be glad of it then.

I like the sound of the Red Squirrel Corner. Little houses? NICE!
I liked Brave! I want a Brave doll of my very own.
The SUNS are so cute with their surfer boy hair. I like them!
We have a nice long weekend (Labor Day!) and I am busy sorting out my piles of stuff. I'm moving my "office" upstairs. It's really just where I keep all my junk.
Sending huge love your way, good Mags!

Yes, it's getting quite autumnal - the light, not really the temperature. Sigh.

My boys liked Brave but didn't love it. They like squirrels more than I do. You are having a lovely end to your summer. Enjoy it!

Lovely to read your news, and to catch up. I was lucky enough to live near a red squirrel habitat in Formby, so we would go and visit "Squirrel Woods" on a fairly regular basis. Here in France they are all red, but we don't often see them (except, sadly, squashed on the road from tme to time)

Time stands still

Hello! Sending you all lots of love from Northern Ireland, where nothing much changes just as everything changes, as usual. Time has stood ...
