Nor do I have photos of Jo air-surfing across the kitchen floor five minutes ago, or of Mattman apologising to me immediately after his swine 'flu jab because he screamed in my ear.
I don't have photos, thankfully, of Nedboy who is recovering well from 18 hours and 40 minutes of surgery on Tuesday, of the sound of suns practising piano, of the blessed relief of a snooze after the C School today while PC made dinner, or of the frustrated tone in Mattman's voice when he laments the inability of lands to live together in peace.
I only have one photo of my favourite mug. Because it makes me smile too!

It's a super mug - and perhaps it sums up the week! I was listening to the piano prac this evening and thinking how I underestimate the blessing of it - it's not always pretty but we've moved on from Frere Jaques and Au clair de la lune to Beethoven and The Girl from Iponema - I'm proud of them!
Great Mug!
Enjoy your suns whilst they are shining in your home - I SO miss my grown up girls [and cannot wait to visit them at half term]
Hoping Nedboy continues to make good recovery.

I think this might be my most favorite post of yours to date. Love this!
Beautiful sentiment, Mags! Enjoy that piano music!
Well said..smile!.....Hey...you know? Come to think of it...You did put those pictures in my head!
Blessings, Linnie
(P.S. was that the book that you were talking about?)?
It's often the small things - like the unexpected thankyou from your schoolboy - that make us happy beyond proportion. I am feeling a little motivated to do a thankfulness post myself now - thanks!
Great mug :)
I wish it was piano I had to listen too - little son plays a violin and that can be 'testing' at times!!
Oh good! Thanks! I just bought a copy from Amazon! (used for twentyfive cent + SH)
Blessings, Linnie
Tea is good!!!
I have a bumper sticker that says "Make Cornbread, Not War." That's because I live in the south, where we really like cornbread a lot. If I lived in the UK, of course it would be tea. Of course it would.

Love the mug, hubby gave me one a couple of years ago for my birthday that says Smart Women Thirst for Knowledge....it is my absolute favorite and I use it everyday to drink my tea each day when i get home from a long day teaching pre-k students.
Thanks for sharing this great photo!
