We finally got snow. Proper snow. Snow enough to make snowmen, throw snowballs and scrunch with satisfaction through bouncy, snowy grass. And so, there was snowswimming! I went on the first morning when the snow was still quite light, but still!

You are amazing. When we visited you in 2012(so long ago) your men swam (in August) in wetsuits... And here you are just in a simple cossie in January. I am in awe.
Snowswimming! You are my hero!
I walked on the beach this week, experimentally, because I knew there was high wind. That, more than the cold, got to me immediately and I guess that's what gave me a headache.
It was still worth it, though! I learned from the experiment, and I did walk for a half hour, which was better than paperwork at home :-)
Are you wearing a wet suit? You're amazing and I cannot imagine swimming in cold water. A while back I put my hand in the place where the Arctic Ocean and Bearing Sea meet and thought, " WHY? WHY would anyone want to so full body into that water?"
I'm a wimp.
