Sunday night blues

I think my Sunday Night Blues are beinning to shake off gradually- too much late-night catching up with BBC's current Woman in White adaptation!  I've only read Wilkie Collins' Moonstone- is W in W a very feminist book, or is it just this C21st TV interpretation?

I did wonder last night if it would be more creative to take that phrase literally- so here were last night's blues! I didn't wander too far from my dusk-time chair.

ps Hello again x

Hello again, sweet friend.
I remember the Sunday night blues very well. Sigh.
I've never read any Wilkie Collins. Should I?
Take care, Mags.

Beautiful shots, Mags. I love that you didn't have to wander too far from your cozy chair to capture all that blue :) I haven't watched the show you're talking about though.

Greeting, Mags! Love the blues! Never read W in W, sorry! ;)

Hi, Mags!

Well, I think the blues that you pictured for us would help keep the bad "blues" away. Partly because the creativity of putting them together is a boon to one's mental state. And hearing from you in Blogland is a boon to your readers, too! So write more blog posts! Show us what you've been knitting or cooking, or just say hello more often <3

I think I read Woman in White, but obviously too long ago.

Hello! Nice to hear from you. I remember the Sunday Night Blues from when I was teaching in school. In fact, it was mostly Sunday Blues!!

I've never read The Womanin White either, but I have read one or two reviews of this series (recorded, not watched) which suggest that it is more the interpretation that is feminist, rather than the book.

Time stands still

Hello! Sending you all lots of love from Northern Ireland, where nothing much changes just as everything changes, as usual. Time has stood ...
