Mollie Makes

So from what I have understood, lots of sublimely beautiful and influential bloggistes, like Dottie Angel, have published a magazine. It's four hours of blog-wandering without switching on the computer. I'm having an aspirational Jane Brockettish read. Found Issue 1 quite by chance in a newsagent's last night, waiting for PC to buy his clutch of mountain magazines.

Inside today are small boys and friend; outside intermittent deluges of torrential rain- so I've chosen apple cosy over the felt kit to start with and have a contented little smile on my face! Bon weekend!

Oooh! this looks fun. I am avoiding spending, but note that you can try the first three issues for £5, so I may treat myself.

Not sure about crocheted apple covers though...concerned they might get mucky if left in the lunchbox afterwards along with the core!

have a great weekend - blesisngs x

Ah! I've just found my second ever edition of Uppercase in the post, which is by the publisher's of Dottie Angel's book. She put me onto them, and by a weird series of coincidences I became a very minor contributor to a set of cards they were publishing, and was 'paid' with a year's subscription! It's a really super magazine too. I shall look out for Molly Makes when I'm in the UK...

What fun! And thanks for telling us about the Molly Makes you often don't get to know about these things unless someone passes the info on : ) Not sure that I'll ever catch up with it here but I will now at least know to look out for it. A very laugh out loud little project..almost along the lines of knitting graffiti. Much love Catherine x

Oooh, that looks swell--both apple cozy and mag! Hope we get it (mag) here in the States. Not that I need more projects, but I always need more projects. I just do.

It looks very nicely designed - clean and fresh as Dottie Angel herself. I must have a hunt for it.

I picked mine up last week on the way to dinner at a friend's house and went and left it there. Only got it back yesterday!
